Job Description

• Plan, implement and monitor safety and health system, conduct risk assessment to minimize hazards to improve safety and health environment of the organization.
• Identify and report of any safety deficiency and research the practicable steps available to eliminate, isolate, or minimize hazards.
• Establish, plan, review and maintain HSE policies, guidelines and practices abreast with HSE legislation.
• Conduct accident and incident investigation and provide prevention and improvement action plan to eliminate/minimize recurrence of such accidents.
• Liaise with relevant authorities (BOMBA, DOSH, DOE, etc.) in ensuring HSE compliance of the system.
• Conduct awareness training, coordinate internal audit in ensuring compliance with management system ISO14001:2015.
• Organize and coordinate in-house HSE training. Provide safety briefing/induction for managers, employees and visitors when necessary.
• Plan and propose yearly HSE training plan with budget to the management and coordinate with HR for training execution.
• Perform inspection and monitoring on the housekeeping, safety handling and safety work practices within the organization as in compliance with HSE requirements.
• Organize and coordinate Safety & Health Committee meeting and prepare minutes of meeting.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Professional Degree in Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) or equivalent.
• Construction site working experience in industrial project (Green Book Holder) is an advantage.
• Good communication skill and high discipline.
• Able to work independently and take instruction from immediate superior at anytime.
• Be able to work flexible hours and work with tight schedules.

Fibre Optic Technician install and repair various types of cables for electricity and telecommunications utilities like telephone and internet. As a Fibre Optic Technician, your job duties include the installation, testing, and repair of primary and secondary cable networks.

Job Description

• To perform splicing, jointing, testing and maintenance for fibre optic aerial and underground fulfilment
• To install fiber optic equipment such as splicing machines, fiber optic test equipment, and fiber optic cable termination devices includes connecting wires and cables to terminals and attaching/detaching hardware to wires, building or poles
• To determine the location of underground utilities such as gas, water, and electricity lines before beginning construction work
• To perform troubleshooting on fiber optic networks, identify problems and provide solutions
• To carry out inspections and confirm all procedures, tests and equipment specified in the work permit are complied with before the work permit is approved
• To carry out atmospheric test in confined spaces
• To supervises all activities before, during, and after operations in confined spaces
• To support and update the work progress with Top Management

Requirements

• Diploma Holder or posses a minimum of SPM
• Experience on fibre optic job (Pulling, Splicing and Jointing)
• Possess valid AESP card (Advantage)
• Physically and mentally fit to enter the confined space as stated in the Health Examination checklist (ICOP for Confined Space 2010)

Requirements
